CHANICE POSADA AND JORDAN WALKER

The Howard University swimming & diving team made waves at the recent 2022 H2ounds Invitational, with standout Bison Chanice Posada and Jordan Walker securing Northeast Conference weekly honors for their strong showings.

Recognized as NEC Women's Swimmer and Rookie of the Week, newcomer Posada sped to an impressive 100 Back victory in 55.31 seconds - the top conference time that also meets national championship qualifying standards. The Houston native also led off Howard's 200 Medley Relay in 25.70 seconds for the 50 Back leg.

On the men's side, veteran diver Walker captured his fifth weekly accolade of the season - this time as NEC Men's Diver of the Week. The San Antonio product earned multiple top-three finishes across both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards.

Posada and Walker led Howard to an overall second place team finish at the annual H2ounds Invite hosted by Loyola Maryland December 1-2. They now set their sights on the Navy Long Course Time Trials December 8 as the Bison continue making program history this season through athletic excellence.
